Time is Flying By....

I can't believe it has been over a month since my last post. So much has gone on during this time! Where do I begin? August 31 came and went with Gage celebrating his 7th birthday! We had a party here at the house with friends and family with my dad visiting for the week, as well. It was so much fun. Gage got a Nintendo Wii for his birthday and was ecstatic! Never thought we would give in, but glad we did, it really has been a fun toy!

Labor Day weekend was a busy time, as well. My mom, Lauren, Grandma Bonnie, Sydney and I went to Indiana to visit Amy, Chris and the kids. We had so much fun catching up and hanging out. My wonderful Aunt Amy sent me home with so many baby items, including the baby bassinet that this little peanut is going to sleep in.

Gage has started swim team with an Omaha club a couple nights a week and his first grade religious education on Wednesday nights. Sydney is now in gymnastics and swim lessons. School is keeping us busy with weekly spelling tests for Gage and sight word review for Sydney.

BABY UPDATE.....

So, I have hit 29 weeks and "at the most", 10 weeks from today, we will have this little bambino. Since I am having another c-section, it will be schedule one week prior to my due date, that is if I don't go into labor before that. Not sure we are ready for this baby girl yet. Yes, we have a bed, a blanket, a bottle and some clothes, but it just still seems kind of surreal. I am going to the doc every two weeks now and progressing right along!!

Some great friends, Jenny and Shannon, are throwing me a shower the first weekend in November, so we decided that we needed to go register. Wow, that was an experience. Rich, me, Gage and Sydney all went to Babies R Us to register on a Saturday night a couple weeks ago. We decided that including them was important and that may not have been the best idea. They were quite rambunctious and well, thought, we needed everything. So, there may be some items on our registry that just maybe shouldn't have made it there. :) The other overwhelming part was that store, WOW, they did not have a Babies R Us here when the other two were born and there are way too many options of even the most necessary items like bottles, pacifiers and monitors! It was still fun though, thinking of all the things we will need for this Princess.

Finally, we ended this past weekend with our first Pumpkin Patch trip of the season. Here are some pics to put a smile on your face today!
