Happy 6th Birthday Sydney Gabrielle!

On July 8th, Sydney turned 6! She is growing up way too fast is all I can say! Her birthday wasn't just one day this year, it would span over a couple of really fun days. I took her birthday off work and we started out with birthday waffles on the birthday plate with a candle. Gage and I sang to her...she was tickled pink.

Then, it was onto swimming lessons and an afternoon zoo trip with Aunt Lauren. It was pretty busy at the zoo, which was surprising for a Thursday afternoon, so we hung out for a couple of hours and headed home. Of course, we snuck in a birthday sno cone before we left!

For the evening of her birthday, Sydney chose to go to Kobe Steakhouse, a Japanese Steakhouse where your food is cooked right in front of you. It was a blast. Grandma and Grandpa Manganaro went, along with some friends and cousin Alison who was here visiting from Oregon.

Friday was one more big day for the birthday! Sydney has 5 friends over for her very first sleepover. It was a luau themed party with pizza, cupcakes, swimming, Hanna Montana and sleeping over. Of course for mom it was fun so I could decorate and make it the best party ever for my Sydney. 4 of the 5 girls slept over, as well as Aunt Lauren. Rich and Gage headed out of town for the weekend which worked out great because Gage would have been outnumbered with all of the girls. The girls went to be about 11 finally and up by 7am...needless to say, Sydney, Mommy and Abby needed a nap!!
